Kammer Offenhauser

Kammer Offenhauser

Kammer Offenhauser is a certified permaculture designer and has been implementing learnings with his family’s 30-acre, diverse farm and homestead in Northern Michigan, Soul Springs.

The speed of their development and extensions into market gardens, nurserying, mushroom production, microgreens business, earthworks & terracing, and energy systems at scale has informed Kammer’s understanding of creating spaces that nurture our transition across the continent.

Kammer organized one of the first Permaculture Action Days during the original Permaculture Action Tour with The Polish Ambassador in 2014. Through Kammer’s planning and design, a riparian food forest of more than 100 fruit and nut trees was planted in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Kammer has since organized numerous action days across the continent.

Kammer acts as a “double link” between the Core Crew of Permaculture Action Network and the Great Lakes BioRegional Crew.
