  • and much more.

A full day of community networking, projects, workshops, skill-shares, a meal for the people prepared by the people and live music!

This is a free, family-friendly event. Come as you are, bring your people.

Brooklyn Heights Community Garden in north Nashville, part of the Scruggs Brooklyn Heights Community, was our first Nashville action day site back in April, 2017 and we are very excited to return.

This is our second PAD at this site, the first one last April 2017. The mission of the garden is to bring awareness to the need for growing healthy food and living healthier lives. It is a civic space where people share labor, nourish relationships, and connect to our shared natural environment. BHCG fuels, heals and provides aesthetic pleasure to the neighborhood, many of whom are elderly and on fixed incomes. BHCG provides these elders, important people in the community, healthy fruit, vegetables and herbs grown locally on-site.
