SUMMARY:Permaculture Intensive at Summer Camp Music Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Permaculture Intensive Experience will host registered guests for three days of learning; the cost for participation is $333. The action-oriented workshop will address natural building methods\, soil health\, water design integration\, planting techniques\, edible food forests\, container gardening\, and much more. The complete immersion event includes prepared meals\, camping\, morning ceremony\, evening discussions and a dynamic learning environment.  Visit the course page and register on the Summer Camp Music Festival website. \nBrief Course Summary\nThe 3-day Permaculture Intensive is an in-depth workshop and learning experience exploring a hands-on approach to urban gardening and holistic land design. Grounded in the principles of permaculture\, this action-oriented workshop will address natural building methods\, soil health\, water design\, planting techniques\, food forests\, container gardening\, whole systems theory and much more! Students enrolled in the 3-day comprehensive process will build real projects\, creating two spaces that will serve as educational zones during the festival weekend. The learning course will include optional daily yoga\, meditation and Native American ceremony. On Wednesday\, May 25th\, following the course\, participants will be encouraged into leadership opportunities to apply their new skills at a Permaculture Action Day\, open to the public\, in Edwards\, IL\, where ~200 volunteers will transform 7 Circle Heritage Center through the principles of permaculture\, diversifying the Center’s landscape. \nThe workshop offers a complete immersion event including prepared meals\, camping\, morning ceremonies\, evening discussions and a dynamic learning environment. The intensive will be facilitated by a collective of teachers who have studied the course concepts both internationally and domestically and boast years of applied knowledge\, offering a broad and practical perspective. Participants can expect a compelling life experience valuing community\, embracing new friends and illuminating a renewed perspective of abundant regenerative solutions to some of modern society’s most pressing challenges.
