DESCRIPTION:Wednesday May 25th; 12pm-8pm\nSeven Circles Heritage Center\n8817 West Southport Rd – Edwards\, Illinois 61528 (25 minutes from Summer Camp)\n\nJoin Permaculture Action Network at 7 Circles Heritage Center Wednesday May 25th\, the day before Summer Camp Music Festival.  Before heading to Summer Camp\, come out to get your hands in the dirt\, learn about permaculture techniques and give back to community!  Seven Circles Heritage Center is a community space to preserve and restore indigenous culture and Native American teachings.  It is a spiritual gathering place for all people to cultivate cross-cultural understanding and respect by sharing knowledge and developing community.\n\n\n \n\n\nCelebrate community with us at 7 Circles Heritage Center\, 2 days before Rising Appalachia plays their set at the festival on Friday\, to engage in a full day of healing and activating the land. \n\n\n \n\n\nAs part of a continuing permaculture education program at Summer Camp Music Festival\, we will be participating in an earthworks revitalization process to prepare the land for improved water retention. In addition to building swales and terraces\, we will be installing an edible food forest system\, three sisters companion planting gardens\, medicinal herb gardens\, native habitat plantings\, all while celebrating the diversity of culture.
