DESCRIPTION:Minneapolis Permaculture Action Day\non the Solidarity Tour with Rising Appalachia Music \nJoin us on the day after Rising Appalachia’s Minneapolis show for a day full of family-friendly\, hands-on permaculture learning\, workshops\, skillshares\, food for the people\, and live entertainment. \nWaite House | Sunday Nov. 18 | 10-5\n2323 11th Ave S | Minneapolis\, MN \nWe will be working on many indoor projects (so come despite the weather!) including installation of an aquaponics system\, a vermiculture system build\, a collaborative mural painting\, and the construction of a potted plant wall for indoor growing. \nMore details including full action day schedule\, special guests\, hands-on projects\, all to be announced soon. Get in touch with us to contribute or help facilitate! \nSpecial guests will include indigenous rights group Honor the Earth and recording artist Amber Lily with more TBA. A local medicine man will be doing a workshop on herbal medicines and a local permaculture farm will be hosting a hands-on fermentation workshop! \nThe theme for the day will be Food Security & Community Activation. \nThese are public and family-friendly events.
