SUMMARY:Permaculture Action Day w/ Moon Hooch Denver
DESCRIPTION:Come out to Seeds of Power Unity Farm with the Permaculture Action Network and touring musicians Moon Hooch for a Permaculture Action Day. \nThis free and public event will be on July 13th\, 2019 from 9 AM – 7 PM at the three Seeds of Power Farm sites in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. \nOur newest collaborators\, touring musicians in the band Moon Hooch\, will be showing up on the Action Day to get their hands in the dirt. Be sure to check out their performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 12th. \nThere will be hands-on projects to aid the Seeds of Power Unity Farm\, including building and maintaining vital infrastructure for the farm sites\, planting garden beds\, and more. \nWe’ll have workshops and skillshares from local presenters\, community-centered networking\, food\, and music. \nThe Permaculture Action Day will conclude with a shared meal\, ingredients cultivated at Seeds of Power and prepared by Beverly Grant\, the farmer behind it all. Food and entertainment from 4-7PM at the Dahlia Campus\, 3401 Eudora St\, Denver\, CO 80207. \nThis project is a collaboration between Seeds of Power Unity Farm\, a Denver based\, black-led farm in the Five Points neighborhood\, and Permaculture Action Network\, a collective of regional teams across the US that mobilize thousands of people to take direct action on regenerative projects by collaborating with performing artists and cultural events.
